TERMS AND CONDITIONS We welcome you to the ELLERSLIE HOTEL booking website and hope you enjoy your experience but you must read and agree to these terms and conditions as they will apply to your use of our website and any bookings you make with us using our online booking application. ELLERSLIE HOTEL will accept your reservation subject to the following terms and conditions. ELLERSLIE HOTEL reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove sections of this website and these terms and conditions at any time without notice or liability. If you are a regular user of our online booking application we recommend that you check this website and these terms and conditions on a regular basis, as it is not the responsibility of ELLERSLIE HOTEL to inform you of any changes and any future reservations you make will be made subject to the terms and conditions which apply at the time a booking ismade. RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT: A valid credit card is required to secure bookings made on this website. To validate the card a deposit of one days accommodation per room may be taken from the credit card within 48 hours of check in. If there is insufficient funds on the card to cover the deposit, or if the card is refered to the issuer for any reason the reservation may be cancelled without further notice. 1.1 All payments for reservations via the ELLERSLIE HOTEL Website will be charged in full on the day of arrival. 1.2 The guest is required to provide a valid credit card or cash deposit upon making a reservation at the hotel to cover cancellation fees and any incidental charges. 1.3 To verify the integrity of the credit card a deposit of one nights accommodation for each room booked may be charged to the credit card supplied within 48 hours of checkin. 1.4 If the card is declined or referred to issuer for any reason it may result in the cancellation of the bookings. CHECK IN Check in at ELLERSLIE HOTEL is from 2:00 pm New Zealand time on the day of arrival. You may attempt to check in prior to 2:00 pm, but we do not guarantee that your room will be available for your use. You will be required to provide either a credit card imprint at the time of check in as security for any extra charges you may incur while at the hotel. If you have not provided a valid credit card at check in or if you wish to pay by eft pos or debit card you will be required to provide a cash deposit of $150 New Zealand dollars in addition to payment for rooms and services ordered. CHECK OUT. Check out at ELLERSLIE HOTEL is 10:00 am New Zealand time on the day of departure. Requests may be made at the time of check in for an extension to this time and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The hotels decision on any extension of check out time is final. Extra charges may apply for any extension to check out time at the discretion of the individual hotel. Any unused cash deposit will be refunded to the user at check out. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations may be made by contacting our office by phone: +64 9 520 6243. (Bookings made through 3rd party websites must be cancelled through the same site as the booking was made.) You must cancel your reservation no less than 2 days prior to the day on which you are due to arrive to avoid a cancellation charge. A cancellation charge may be imposed if you cancel all or part of your reservation at the ELLERSLIE HOTEL within 48 hours of check in. The cancellation charge is the full amount of the first night’s accommodation you have booked at ELLERSLIE HOTEL for each room booked. NO SHOWS If you have made a booking which has not been cancelled and for which you have NOT received a cancellation confirmation by email and you do not check in your credit card may be charged the full amount of the booking. REFUNDS OF PREPAID BOOKINGS It is not the responsibility of ELLERSLIE HOTEL to contact you regarding deposits or cancellation fees or any possible refund claims or for penalties deducted from credit cards under this cancellation policy. Furthermore ELLERSLIE HOTEL does not warrant or guarantee that all or any deposits or prepayments for goods or services that you may have ordered from any third party providers will be refunded, and will in no way be obligated to make up any shortfall. You must contact any third party providers and make your own arrangements with them. TAX INFORMATION New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in all amounts shown and charged to your credit card. ELLERSLIE HOTEL is required by New Zealand law to charge GST on all goods sold or used within New Zealand. The rate is15%. GENERAL INFORMATION All rooms are sold on a double or twin share basis. There will be extra charges applicable if the number of adults in the room exceeds two. Children stay for free provided they are under 3 years of age and are using existing bedding in the room. Unless otherwise stated charges are for accommodation and Continental Buffet Breakfast. All other charges (such as for mini-bar, beverages, damage to property of the hotel and other hotel services) will be paid at the completion of your stay at ELLERSLIE HOTEL. ERRORS AND OMISSIONS Any reservation made on the ELLERSLIE HOTEL online booking website is made at your own risk. As you are entering information directly into the Hotel reservations system, all information entered by you will be assumed to be correct and final. Any errors or omissions will be the responsibility of the person entering any information into our online system. ELLERSLIE HOTEL will not be held responsible nor will ELLERSLIE HOTEL accept any financial liability for any errors or omissions in the information provided. DISCLAIMER The use of this website is at your own risk ELLERSLIE HOTEL, notwithstanding all efforts to maintain high levels of security, does not warrant that the website will operate error-free or that this web site and its server are free of computer viruses or other harmful material. If you use this website and your equipment is in need of servicing or replacement or if you loose data or experience any problems, ELLERSLIE HOTEL will accept no responsibility or liability for any damage, losses and costs you may suffer or incur in any circumstances.
